Welcome Back to an Extraordinary Year at DeMille Mỹ Việt Language Academy where Excellence, Culture and Innovation Meet!

It is with great pride and excitement that I welcome you to another incredible school year at DeMille Mỹ Việt Language Academy—the first Vietnamese Dual Language Immersion program in the state of California and a nationally recognized model of academic excellence, cultural pride, and community engagement.

Our mission has always been clear: to provide a rigorous, well-rounded education that empowers our students academically, culturally, and socially so they can thrive in the world they will inherit. We celebrate bilingualism, biliteracy in Vietnamese, music, dance, and culture—preparing students to be both scholars and cultural ambassadors. Our students are not only bilingual and biliterate in Vietnamese, but they are also highly proficient in core content areas, consistently demonstrating exceptional academic achievement across all subjects.

Our award-winning school is currently the first and only school that has earned the California Association for Bilingual Education’s Legacy and Visionary Board Award, the Seal of Excellence, the Golden Bell Award, the Distinguished School Award, multiple PBIS Awards, and repeated Honor Roll recognitions. These honors reflect our exceptional academic results, strong community partnerships, and the dedication of our staff, students, and families. Our model PTA and active parent community help create a thriving environment where students shine—whether performing in the Westminster Tết Parade and Garden Grove Tết Festival, appearing on television, or welcoming visitors from across the nation and the world to see our program in action.

At DeMille, we are not just preparing students for today—we are preparing them for tomorrow’s opportunities. Careers across technology, healthcare, engineering, business, and the arts are increasingly shaped by Artificial Intelligence (AI). This year, we are proud to partner with e-Kadence to integrate AI into our classrooms, ensuring our students are future-ready. "AI literacy will be a game-changing skill that opens doors to high-demand well-paying careers anywhere from the six figures to potentially over a million dollars annually — across technology, law, medicine, finance, design, and more.” By combining AI readiness with multilingual proficiency and critical thinking, our students are poised to become leaders who will innovate, bridge cultures, and succeed in a global economy.

As we begin this school year, I invite all families to stay connected, participate in our programs, and celebrate each milestone. Together, we are nurturing bright minds who will shape industries, open new frontiers, and build a prosperous future for themselves and their communities.
